Sexuality: Heterosexual, but really doesn't care either way.
Habit/Neurosis: A bit too obsessive interest with the occult -- especially divination. He is particularly fond of tarot cards, and dislikes numerology. Very fond of the ouji board and scrying. Mad Hatter also is diagnosed with bipolar disorder, specifically that of the mixed state. Here, symptoms of mania and depression occur simultaneously, with constant blending of over exaggerated emotions that are usually triggered at the most unlikely thing. Mad Hatter is as his most dangerous peak at this moment, but he takes antidepressants and mood stabilizers to take care of it.

Personality: Mad Hatter lives in a constant state of mild aggravation. He gets annoyed at the littlest things, but often just remarks irritably about it instead of actually doing anything. He can come off as rude or thoughtless because of how blunt he can be, but he really is a good person. He does try to understand people, and will often try to do anything to gain their trust. He does act pissy around certain people and is very sensitive of comments towards himself, though not thinking of what he says towards others. He can be very sympathetic towards some of the more pathetic people, but often very hateful towards other. He is very opinionated and often speaks without thinking. Most of the time, he carries an uncaring attitude, shrugging off what people say, and then muttering angrily about it under his breath.

He loves children and often treats them very kindly, and can be very respectful towards adults. He can easily carry himself in a sophisticated fashion when necessary and knows how to change attitude depending on the person he is interacting with. Often though, Mad Hatter is treated with fits varying in mood, but always at the same time. He'll act furious but still consider himself a failure, cry but still be smiling, or act destructive, but still be panged with guilt. Mad Hatter is very empathetic and tries not to let the issues of others bother him. He doesn't care about politics or economics or whatever, and is very self-absorbed. But at the same time, he is terribly loyal and always keeps a promise. He's also superstitious and will not do anything that afflicts him with bad luck or any sort.

Mad Hatter over all is a pretty good guy. He does try to be nice to people, and can be very helpful, but often, he lets his anger and mood swings over take him, but he will try to make up for it. He's a sweetheart, it's just hard to reach that part.

MUCHNESS

History: Mad Hatter (Or as he was known as, Maddox) was born in wales. He was not a child where he had known his parents and was able to brood and reminisce over the good times and the not. They had died when he was born and he had grown up living with his uncle. His uncle was a good man, just a complete push over. Everyone took advantage of him and because of that, they were constantly in debt and moving from place to place. His uncle was always out of a job, or had a poor one, or something of the sort. And because of Mad Hatter's illness, he was constantly going to a psychologist, and with what little money they had, were forced to buy him pills and mood stabilizers. So Mad Hatter was a good little boy, living peacefully (but in a constant state of annoyance) as he grew older with his uncle, watching them lose life after life after life.

Mad Hatter watched his uncle slowly plunge himself into a state of depression. The old man would stay up drinking all night long, and get himself so terribly wasted. One night though, the pressure seemed to really hit hard and of course, his uncle was drunk.

And angry.

So as a result, poor Mad Hatter was beaten and abused, the fifteen year-old child forced to deal with the unfortunate result of being too nice.

Soon after, his uncle, realizing what he did, chose to abandon Mad Hatter at the nearest orphanage instead of causing the teen to suffer. And that's where he stayed for two years, until he was swept away to the magical land of Whammy. Unfortunately, Mad Hatter also had his daily visits to the doctor, as well as added medication to take.
